The ISD will take place at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. ESTEC is the European Space Agency’s largest establishment, and the technical and organisational hub of Europe’s space sector.

Access to ESA/ESTEC
For access to ESTEC and the ISD venue a valid photo ID/passport (for EU Member States) or passport (others) is mandatory. Only registered participants can gain access.
When at ESTEC, ISD event badges have to be worn visibly at all times.
Parking at ESTEC or in the ESTEC vicinity will NOT be possible during the event. Free shuttle buses will run from and to Noordwijk and Katwijk.
Transport
Arriving by car
Parking is not permitted at ESTEC or in its vicinity during the ISD. ISD visitors travelling by car are advised to park their vehicles in public parking spaces in Noordwijk & Katwijk. Free shuttle buses from various stops will be available (see section “Shuttle Service”).

In addition various hotels have dedicated car parks. Please check with your hotel for fees and availability.
Exhibitors will be able to access ESTEC with their vehicles only to drop off and pick up materials. Further details will be provided.
Shuttle Service
During the ISD, a free shuttle service will be offered from and to Katwijk and Noordwijk. Buses will run in the morning and in the evening. In addition, there will be a free shuttle bus from Leiden Central Station in the mornings.

The pick-up and drop off points will be provided in the due time before the event.
ESTEC-Schiphol airport shuttle
On the last day of the ISD, a shuttle bus service will be available from ESTEC to the airport. Participants can book a seat during the event at the Information Desk or via a dedicated website that will be made available before the event.
Public buses from and to Leiden
There are also public buses available from Leiden Central Station to ESA ESTEC (at the regular fair). Check the bus times here.
Taxi Service
The company Taxi Brouwers has an agreement with ESA; the pick-up and drop off point is at the ISD venue. To book a taxi with the company, please go to the ISD Information Desk. The availability of taxis is limited, book your taxi in advance.
Accommodation
There are various accomodation options available in the Noordwijk, Katwijk and Leiden area. Please check online. An early reservation is recommended. ESA does not take any responsibility for the suggestions below.

Wifi
Free wifi access will be available to all participants.
1-on-1 Meetings on site
The 1-on-1 meeting online platform will be accessible for registered participants and will be available before and during the event. The meeting platform allows attendees to schedule additional meetings on-site and to find more potential contacts.
Coffee Breaks
During the ISD refreshments (coffee, tea and water) will be available free of charge to participants wearing name badges.
Catering/Lunch and networking cocktail
Lunch on both days and networking cocktail are included in the ISD entrance fee.
Cloakroom
A cloakroom will be available. Coats as well as small suitcases can be dropped off.
